Dubai: Dubai is our standby destination if we want to take a short trip.  There is always something new to do, and it’s only an hour away.

Bahrain: We moved to Bahrain in the middle of 2006.  We still haven’t got around to seeing much but we recently added pictures of the Al Areen Wildlife Park.

Qatar: We both lived in Qatar for over four years. Even though we now live in Bahrain, we will likely go back for weekend trips.

Cyprus: We spent a long weekend in Cyprus at the end of August 2006.

Istanbul: We spent 4th of July weekend in Turkey.  Four days of it in Istanbul.  Our hotel was right between Aya Sophia and The Blue Mosque.

Ephesus: While we were in Istanbul, we took a day trip down to Ephesus to see the ancient ruins.

Mauritius: We spent a week in Mauritius for Yvonne’s birthday in 2006.  Our friends Jared and Maryanne came along.

Maldives 2006: We spent a long weekend in the Maldives for my birthday / Valentines Day.  We stayed in an over the water bungalow at the Taj Coral Reef Resort.

Paris: Yvonne and I met in Paris for New Years 2006.  This was the first of many trips we have gone on together.

Colorado Springs: In May 2005 I went back to Colorado Springs to do some work for three weeks.  While there, I took some pictures of sights around the area.

Miscellaneous: These are picture pages that don’t fall into any other categories and don’t really have enough pictures to create a new category.  Currently the highlights would be pictures from the Grand Canyon or of our house.

London: We met my mom and sister in London for an extended weekend.  We also took a few tours around the area.

Christmas 2006/New Years 2007: We took a three week vacation at the end of 2006 to go home to see family.

Maldives 2007: We went back to the Maldives for my birthday and Valentine’s Day 2007.  This time we stayed at the Four Seasons Kuda Huraa Resort.

Bangkok: After spending a week in Phuket, we stopped in Bangkok for a day on the way back to Bahrain.

Phuket: We spent a week in Phuket, Thailand with some friends in April, 2007. 

Jordan: I spent a week in Jordan for a conference in June 2007.  After it was over, Yvonne flew in for two days and we saw the sights.

Our Wedding: We were married on 15 September, 2007 at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas.  The ceremony was held in the Venus Garden.

Our Honeymoon: We honeymooned in French Polynesia.  We spent 2 days in Tahiti, 7 days in Bora Bora, and 3 days in Moorea.

Bali: We went to Bali for Christmas in 2007. 

Kuala Lumpur: We went to Kuala Lumpur in December 2007 on our way to Bali for Christmas.

Tanzania: Our last trip from the Middle East was a safari to Tanzania in July 2008.  We spent 8 days on the mainland at safari lodges and then 3 days on the island of Zanzibar.

Maldives 2008: We went back to the Maldives in April 2008.  This time we went with friends and stayed at Kuredu Resort.  The diving and snorkeling were great, and we got some great underwater pictures.

Salzburg: Our first trip after we got to Europe was to Salzburg and Munich in August 2008.  While in Salzburg we also took a trip down to Werfen to see some ice caves and a castle.

Cote d’Azur: In between leaving Bahrain and getting to Stuttgart, we went to the south of France for a week at the end of July 2008.  We stayed in an apartment in Vence and took day trips to Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, St. Paul, and Eze.

Paris 2008: For our one year anniversary we went back to Paris since it was the first trip we took together.  Besides seeing the city, we also went out to Disneyland Paris and Versailles.

Munich: Munich was the second part of our first trip after arriving in Stuttgart.  We walked around the city, went to Nymphenburg Palace, and saw the concentration camp at Dachau.

Stuttgart: We moved to Stuttgart at the end of July 2008.  So far we have pictures from Octoberfest, pictures around the house, and pictures from when it snowed.

Garmisch and Vicinity: In October 2008, we took a trip down to Garmisch near the Austrian Border.  On the trip we also stopped to see some of the palaces of Ludwig II, including Neuschwanstein Castle.

Barcelona: Barcelona was our first big trip in December 2008.  We saw a lot of Gaudi’s architecture, La Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, the Aquarium, and the Maritime Museum.

Liechtenstein: We decided to go to Liechtenstein for Christmas 2008.  We originally were going to go skiing, but that didn’t work out.  We did walk and drive around the country to take pictures.

Strasbourg: We drove over to Strasbourg in early December 2008 for lunch and to walk around the city.

Athens: For our first trip of 2009, we went to Athens for 5 days.  We saw the Acropolis and many of the other sights around Athens and took a day trip up to see Delphi.

Rome: For February 2009 we took a four day trip to Rome.  We walked all over Rome and Vatican City, taking over 1000 pictures.
